The Tales of Bloody Mary

Bloody Mary is the creation of Bobbie Weiner, a special effects makeup artist who has worked on such films as “Titanic” and “Behind Enemy Lines.” She has also created a line of makeup products for the Goth movement. This comic book series stars a Goth girl who haunts an old house, attacks trespassers, and longs for her lost father. The first issue establishes that Bloody Mary responds violently to outsiders and introduces a Catholic priest who may have some darker designs. The artwork is a bit crude, but the story, strangely, is engaging enough.
