Exile Earth served as the premiere for its publisher, Bloomington, Indiana-based River City Comics. It’s an ambitious story which reaches from the dying days of an alien planet to touch the lives of two men in our world: one a slave living in the mid 1800s, and another a modern record store clerk. Both of these men were haunted by visions of a distant planet and found themselves changed by the experience. The slave found the means to escape his bondage, and the record store clerk discovered he possessed the power of flight. But even as each delighted in his newfound freedom, these men had yet to comprehend the nature of the force that had transformed their lives.
