Series continued from Wollf & Byrd: Counselors of the Macabre #23

Supernatural Law (formerly published as Wolff & Byrd : Counselors of the Macabre) is a comedic look at the legal profession, modern society and supernatural creatures from mythology and popular culture. Allana Wolff and Jeff Byrd are always ready to tackle controversial issues (such as religious freedom and discrimination when a demon wants to convert to Christianity, property rights to a body when a client is possessed, and restraining orders plus damages for vampires that are hunted).

While most issues are generally light-hearted reading, author Batton Lash also provides a thought-provoking look at legal issues in an easy to read forum. There's also plenty of lampooning of popular culture, such as references to the The Incredible Hulk, Ally McBeal, Harry Potter and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

As we're constantly reminded throughout the series, "beware the creatures of the night -- they have lawyers!".
