Tomorrow Knights
(Epic, 1990-1991)

Not so long in the future, the world was wracked by what it had long dreaded: a nuclear war. The “Thirteen Hour War” cost thirty million lives. Afterward, the United Corporate Council (UCC), a union of giant corporations stepped in and offered the world a deal. Their treaty would ban nuclear offensive nuclear weapons, outlaw open warfare, and ensure that there would be no more Thirteen Hour Wars. It also meant that the corporations would become the major powers in the world of tomorrow.
Now corporations employ their own private armies and even the U.S. government feels threatened. In desperation, the president turns to a little-known band of freelance troubleshooters known as Starkweather Ltd. and commissions them to act as government agents. This small band would become the “Tomorrow Knights,” the government’s last refuge against a corporate takeover.
