The Adventures of the Outsiders

The Adventures of the Outsiders is the continuation of the series originally entitled Batman and the Outsiders. No longer the inexperienced heroes that Batman once led, now the Outsiders are an effective team in their own right. Their number consists of Metamorpho, Black Lightning, Halo, swordswoman Katana, Looker, and new leader Geo-Force. Geo-Force’s true identity is that of Prince Brion of Markovia, a position which allows him to fund the Outsiders’ activities.

In addition to stories that stand out over many other “team” books, the Outsiders are known for the offbeat foes that they face. These have included a family of robots, (“the Nuclear Family”), who threaten to set off a nuclear explosion while spouting off dialog straight out of “Leave it to Beaver.”
