Written by James Robinson, Firearm was one of the best of Malibu’s Ultraverse titles in the initial run. In late 1995, Malibu relaunched its universe, eventually reincarnating Firearm in this new “Codename: Firearm” series. Alec Swann, the original Firearm appears in issues #0–2 as part of a backup story, but otherwise, the series is devoted to the adventures of Jimmy Hitch. Jimmy is a covert agent and sniper working in the service of the Lodge, your average, everyday secret organization.
