Grendel: War Child

This series takes place in the post-cataclysmic future, several years after Grendel #40, and the death of ruler Orion Assante. Those trouble-filled times become even more chaotic when the child heir to the throne, Jupiter Assante, is kidnapped. As it turns out, the kidnapper is none other than Grendel Prime.

Grendel is a fierce warrior who will stop at nothing to fulfill his duty to the dead ruler. This time that means saving the child from his demented mother and her cunning accomplices who have taken over control of the government. Thus Grendel spirits the child away for training and safekeeping.

But he’ll be back—bringing woe to any who stand against him!
