Gotham Nights II

The Charles Paris amusement center (“Little Paris”) is to Gotham City residents what Coney Island was to New Yorkers. It’s a weathered amusement park that had seen better days, but to which thousands flocked for a day of fun and to relive memories of yesteryear. Little Paris was an isolated island of amusement, as well as the home for the families who worked the rides there. Lately, however, the old rides have been plagued by tragic accidents—which upon closer examination looked less than accidental.

As Batman investigates the strange goings-on at the park, Gotham Nights II turns its attention to the people who live on Little Paris: the ride operator who knows inspectors are being bribed; his daughter, who dreams of big city life in Gotham but risks falling into the hands of a predator; and the mother who hopes her daughter won’t make the same mistakes that she did. In the end, these little lives would explode into flames, taking Little Paris with them.
