In its twelve-issue run, this title served as the catalyst for a remarkable number of events. Issue #1 of Marvel Feature was the first appearance of the Defenders, a group consisting then of The Incredible Hulk, The Sub-Mariner, and Doctor Strange. Later issues reintroduced the long-neglected Ant-Man, presented an early appearance of Thanos, and gave us the famous Thing vs. the Hulk battle.
