Mysterious troubles have caused dissent among the WildC.A.T.s crew, and the members have supposedly gone their separate ways. Of course, as the old saying almost goes once a covert action team, always a covert action team. So even though Grifter keeps insisting they’re not a team anymore, he and the others still find themselves working together.

The most pressing problem of the WildC.A.T.s seems to be the ongoing war between two alien races, the Kherubim and the Daemonites. They are currently trying to find Kenyan, a renegade human who’s been playing both groups against each other to gain more power for himself. Unfortunately, the team’s problems extend beyond the battlefield. Tension and distrust have eroded the bonds of friendship and loyalty that have always held them together. And without trust, even the best soldiers are doomed to failure.
