Jennifer Drake’s life was upturned when she was suddenly thrust into a timeless struggle straight out of Arthurian legends. After she pulled the sword Excalibur from the Stone, however, things really got crazy. Soon she was battling alongside Merlin against the sorceress Morgana, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance.

Now, magic has replaced electromagnetism, causing technology to fail and allowing creatures of legend to once again roam the earth. Jennifer, having assumed the mantle of the Pendragon, has also taken responsibility for the growing group of people looking to her for leadership. But, time is running out. Morgana’s forces are a constant threat, and the reappearance of mythic creatures grows more common. Merlin’s attempts to control the evil sword Draconis continue to fail, and the woman known only as Iseult reappears, her intentions unknown.

As if things couldn’t get any worse, Jennifer and her followers are betrayed by one of their own…
