Alpha Flight Special

    (Marvel, 1991)
™ and ©1991 Marvel Entertainment Group

This four-issue series reprints Alpha Flight #97-100, the “Final Option” storyline. In that story, Alpha Flight comes to the aid of an alien woman who was on the run from the Consortium, an intergalactic business conglomerate. The woman is J’Ridia Starduster (formerly the “Her” companion to Warlock when he was simply known as “Him”). She had offended the Consortium for helping a world in which it had business interests, move from a “profitable” industrial state to a more placid agricultural economy. Now the Consortium wants to punish her for this neo-Maoist act, and will gladly destroy the city of Toronto if Alpha Flight insists on getting in its way.
