Angel (3rd Series)

    (Dark Horse, 2001-2002)
™ and ©2001 Dark Horse Comics, Inc.

Like its sister show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel concerns the threat of undead ghouls preying on humanity and the select few who defend us. Angel (as any fan of the show can tell you) is a reformed vampire who now defends the streets of Los Angeles with his Angel Investigations company in an attempt to win back his humanity.

Fans can also tell you that the winning formula of Buffy and Angel has always been the hip, snarky scripts from Joss Whedon. Remarkably, the comics adaptation boasts Whedon as a co-writer (at least for this four-issue series), ensuring a cross-media style and sound.
