Longshot

This six-part limited series introduced us to both Longshot, its tousled namesake, and the entire universe of Mojo-world. Both have become regular features in the X-Men/mutant titles.

We first meet Longshot when he crossed over to our dimension to elude a group of heavily armed pursuers. In crossing, however, he lost his memory and can no longer tell who he is, or why he was being chased. He needn’t have worried, since his pursuers, the denizens of a twisted world, named “Mojo-world” after its (literally) spineless ruler, caught up to him on Earth. Now, using only his throwing knives, and his apparent power to beat impossible odds, Longshot must find a way to regain his identity and save his new world from the menace of his old one.
