This black-and-white series is an interesting mish-mash of concepts. Gang-wars are tearing New York City apart and making the night even more deadly for those who dare to take to the shadowy streets in defense of the innocent public. Of course, when werewolves, vampires, and zombies join the fray with agents of the FBI and other law enforcement officials, things get even more complicated—and dangerous. The concept of Night is fairly inspired, but the artwork doesn’t quite communicate the kinetic energy of the story.
