The Aristokittens

Berloiz, Toulouse and Marie are the three kittens of Duchess, the blue-blooded family of cats who were saved from abandonment in the wilds of the uncultured countryside in The Aristocats. This series is a sequel to that animated Disney film from 1970 which was also adapted into comic book form by Gold Key. The kittens have a variety of cloying adventures that are aimed at a young audience. Back-up stories feature Thomas O’Malley, the down-to-earth alley cat who befriended the family in their time of need. The O’Malley stories with his gang of alley cats, who seem eerily similar to Top Cat’s gang, are not quite as saccharine.
