Everybody knows the theme: “Meet George Jetson… his boy Elroy… daughter Judy… etc.”—but did you know that for years there were only 24 episodes that aired over and over? That’s because unlike The Jetsons’ stone-age counterparts, The Flintstones, which spent six seasons in prime time, The Jetsons managed just one. There were more inferior episodes made in the late 80s, but when this comic book series originally appeared, it was the only way for a long time to actually read new stories about everyone’s favorite 21st Century Family.
