Frank Miller’s run on Daredevil is remembered as the high point of the series so far. Now, the master returns in this five-part special relating the definitive origin of the Man Without Fear.

Matt Murdock’s story is familiar to fans of the Marvel universe. The son of an embattled prize fighter who was killed when he refused to throw a fight, Matt was hit by a truck carrying radioactive material when he ran to save a blind man from the same fate. Struck blind, he was blessed with heightened senses which allowed him to hear, feel, and sense the things around him in a way no sighted person could. He used these abilities to become Daredevil.

In this series, however, Miller expands on Daredevil’s origin, filling in some of the missing pieces, and making the character come alive in a way that has seldom happened before.
