Star Trek: The Next Generation—The Modala Imperative
(DC, 1991)
™ and © DC Comics
Set 100 years in the future, this mini-series continues the story from the first mini-series, Star Trek-The Modala Imperative. Captain Picard and the Enterprise crew return to the planet Modala for the centennial celebration of their freedom. Joining them on the journey is Admiral Leonard McCoy. A surprise guest later arrives on the Enterprise-none other than Admiral Spock. With the Enterprise called away during the opening ceremony, The Ferengi arrive and declare that a deal was made 100 years earlier with the Krisaians for ownership of the planet. Picard must defeat the daimon to insure the planet’s freedom from Ferengi rule. Peter David writes an engaging story to tie the two mini-series together. Artist Pablos Marcos (Marvel Two-In-One, Avengers) again creates the artwork for this mini-series with the same attention to detail as the first.
