Trained by the venerable Momma Sensei, Darryl Sheppard is a 16-year old Mistress of the Martial Arts. But who is she, really? Where does she come from, and why does everything seem so wonderfully strange and new to her? As she makes her debut as a super-hero, and begins the journey that will unravel the secrets of her past, Samuree forges an alliance with three other young heroes: Megalith, Armor, and Silver Streak of the Revengers.

This series featured plots and scripts by Neal Adams, one of the twelve “most influential comics artists of all time” according to Steve Duin’s and Mike Richardson’s Comics Between the Panels.
