It’s a Verotik world, we just live in it. And so too do a whole lot of denizens—zombies, witches, voodoo priestesses, and monsters—from the mind of Glenn Danzig. Although best known for his music, Danzig’s contributions as a creator and writer to the world of comics aren’t a huge departure from themes of sex, death, and horror that characterize his albums. This series enables him to give visual representation to some of those ideas, in short stories that typically involve nudity, violence, and gore, in varying extremes. Issues in the series sometimes feature different thematic approaches—an “all–voodoo” issue, for example—and are drawn by a variety of artists, including Jimmy Vu and Jason Blood. Joe Chiodo provides cover art on several issues; Danzig handles much of the writing himself.
