Wild Dog

This four-issue mini-series is unusual in that the action takes place not in the big city, but in small town America. There a TV news reporter was smiling through a dreary assignment covering the opening of a downtown development, when she suddenly went prime time. On live TV, a man from an organization known as the Committee for Social Change blew up the development. He then took the reporter hostage, holding her for an exclusive interview in a neighboring theater.

Police were reluctant to enter the theater, fearing an on-camera execution of the reporter. However, a mysterious man called Wild Dog had no such qualms. Driving a pick-up whose license plate read, “Rover,” he smashed through the police lines and entered the theater. There he took on the entire terrorist group and saved the reporter. The only question is: Who is Wild Dog?
