Years ago, an evil prince conspired to be king. Yet even though he was assured of his destiny, it was foretold that a man with a hideously deformed hand would one day challenge his rule. Accordingly, he hatched a plot to have the kingdom searched and to have any such man killed. So it was that a loyal farmer named Kregar was unjustly put to death. Years later, thanks to a deadly poison in the King’s cup, the prince achieved his destiny, becoming King Occulus the First.

But he did not know that poor Kregar had left an heir with a similar deformity. Known throughout the land as Claw, the heir had become a mighty swordsman. And though the prince would try to stop him with soldiers, magic, and summoned demons, nothing could long stand between Claw and his revenge.
