Land of the Dead

This five issue mini-series remains faithful to George A. Romero’s highly acclaimed zombie movie of the same name from 2005. Set in a future where a steadily increasing zombie population has forced the living to retreat to safety behind fortified walls, Land of the Dead offers lessons on the corrosive powers of greed and complacency.

Writer Chris Ryall reprises the role he performed adapting Shaun of the Dead to comic book form and Gabriel Rodriguez branches out from his work illustrating IDW’s Crime Scene Investigation books. The creative team gives the movie its due by not cutting any scenes or rushing the action.
