Falling in Love

Following in the path of successful romance titles like Girls’ Romance, DC/Arleigh launched Falling in Love in 1955. This began a long run which lasted until the early seventies.

The stories in Falling in Love focused on the trials and tribulations that befell young lovers. True love inevitably won out, but not before it had been tested by jealousy, parent trouble, distance, and so on. Although many readers may have preferred more starry-eyed sagas, it was just these sort of obstacles that put the romance in these love stories.
