The Web of Spider-Man

At the time of its launch, Web of Spider-Man was the third solo Spider-Man title released from Marvel. Most closely resembling The Spectacular Spider-Man in tone and style, it has brought the adventures of the webslinger to us every month since 1985.

Although the Green Goblin (Harry Osborn) appears with some regularity here, perhaps the best episodes so far have been the two parts of the Death of Kraven storyline which appeared in this title. In that story, Kraven realizes that he is dying, and plans to finish off some loose ends before his demise—including taking care of his old foe Spider-Man.
