Stupidman: Rain on the Stupidmen

This four-part black-and-white series from Parody Press, writer Mac Myers, and artist Roy Burdine is a dead-on spoof of DC Comics’ Superman media blitz of the mid-1990s and the multi-part, multi-covered “Reign of the Supermen” storyline. Here, Stupidman dies and comes back as the “flavor of the month” super-hero, generating enough doppelgangers to accommodate whatever new trends that may crop up in comics. Fairly biting satire, to be sure.
