Final Destination Spring Break

The premise for the Final Destination series of movies seem a natural fit for the comic book medium. Take a group of young, attractive people. Have one member of this group see a premonition of their violent deaths and warn the others to safety. After they survive, Death methodically claims each member one by one, often through a complicated sequence of events that resemble Rube Goldberg contraptions. Considering how complicated many of the death sequences in the Final Destination movies are, extensive storyboarding must be needed to pull off each scenario. Since comic books and movie storyboards are very similar, the complex death scenes seem to be ideally suited for portrayal in comics, where readers can savor every twisted step.
