Charles Gunn, comrade-in-arms to the vampire Angel, steps into the limelight in this one-shot solo adventure by writer Dan Jolley and artist Mark Pennington. Set during the final season of the television series, when Gunn had been given supernatural lawyer abilities, this book finds the former leader of a gang of vampire hunters looking out for a cousin who has fallen in with a bad crowd. As is typical of tales set in the Buffyverse, the bad crowd happens to be ugly, nasty, and a little demonic.
