Skin13
(Parody, 1995)

Gen13 #1, released in 1995, was an explosively popular comic from Image about the adventures of a group of mutant teenagers, propelled by a mix of humor, hot bods, and attitude.
The comic (and surrounding hype) was so over-the-top, it’s hard to imagine how to even parody it. Luckily, we have the irrepressible Bill Maus of Parody Press! to answer the question in Skin13 (which itself came as a special “1/2” issue with three variants of its own). Like the original, this spoof is filled with barely clad babes, skin tight costumes, and ridiculous plots. Funniest of all are probably the “in-house” ads for “Lady Breast,” “Angelica,” and “Vampoella,” which have a great time spoofing the sexy “bad girl” comics that were all the rage at the time.
