Atomic Robo

Atomic Robo is a five-foot tall robotic automatic intelligence, created in 1923 by famed inventor and scientific genius Nikola Tesla. He’s also an apparently indestructible fighting machine, who finds himself (itself?) at the heart of the greatest events of the 20th Century—from WWII to the Space Race to the Civil Rights Movement (when he gains full legal citizenship). Naturally, being the fearless adventurer that he is, Robo also defends the Earth from all manner of catastrophic menaces, including evil Nazis, 50-foot ants, and living mummies.

Created by Brian Clevinger—known for his hugely popular webcomic 8-bit Theater, which receives over 100,000 hits a day—this 6-issue series is a retro-pulp sci-fi romp filled with monsters, explosions, evil geniuses and the lightning guns that kill them.

Issue #1 is graced with a cover by superstar Michael Avon Oeming.
