Batman and the Outsiders (2nd Series)

The first incarnation of this title started in 1983, after the final issue of The Brave and the Bold. This series reunites some original members of the team like Katana and Metamorpho with new members like the Amazonian, Grace, and Catwoman (though probably not for long). Essentially a “black ops” version of the Justice League, the team is organized and led by Batman to undertake missions that would generate bad press for the League. The Outsiders are also more proactive, involving themselves in situations before any strictly illegal activity is confirmed.

Original writer and series creator Chuck Dixon returns to helm this new iteration of a team of unlikely heroes.
