WildC.A.T.s’ deadly swordswoman strikes out on her own in this 1995 solo series. Zealot is a Kherubim, a member of an ancient race that has fought their galactic enemies, the Daemonites, for countless years. This war spread across the galaxy, eventually involving Earth when Daemonite and Kherubim ships crashed on the planet. Zealot survived the crash, later forming a sisterhood of warriors called the Coda, whose mission was to stop the Daemonites from conquering the planet. Centuries later, the Coda would be revived in response to increased Daemonite activity, and Zealot would join forces with other super-beings to fight Daemonite activities as part of WildC.A.T.s.

This solo series tells us more about the long-lived warrior’s origin, and introduces other players in the endless struggle between the Kherubim and the Daemonites for control of Earth.
