Lip is just a normal, average everyday sort of guy… well, except for the part about being blue and not having a nose. Oh, and the part about being an alien, that’s not so normal, either. And his life’s not so average, either. Joined by his two Earth friends, Barbara and Orson, Lip is traveling through space, and sometimes Time, seeking adventure.
This black-&-white series featured a well-developed cast of characters and strong storytelling, often with more than a hint of humor (as when they encountered the hostile alien Smerks and their evil creator Jim Jenson).
The series saw nine issues under Unbridled Ambition, and continued to #13 under the Eclipse banner. Issue #8 boasted a random, and unmarked, panel of art by Cerebus creator Dave Sim.
