Psylocke & Archangel: Crimson Dawn

Psylocke, a mutant with telepathic powers which allow her to psychically stun opponents, and Archangel, a millionaire with wings, team up in their own mini-series. Kuragari, the mystical ruler of the other-dimensional realm known as the Crimson Dawn, tries to enslaves Psylocke, and force her to join his efforts to conquer Earth. Together with her lover, Archangel, Psylocke fights Kuragari, while at the same time coming to terms with her past and setting a path for her future. Archangel also searches for his own purpose. This Uncanny X-Men spinoff manages to focus on character development as well as action scenes.
