Freemind

It was supposed to be a relatively simple, straightforward, albeit groundbreaking experiment. The Freemind project would put a scientist’s mind into the body of a robot, creating the perfect technological marriage of man and machine. Things go a little haywire, though, and suddenly the rest of the scientists are dealing with an out-of-control robot with a very human brain. Even if they are able to resolve that crisis, their problems aren’t over – for if the technology is successful, it could change the world. Thus, everyone wants it, including some mysterious individuals for whom human life is not terribly important, and who are determined to take the project to the next level, by any means possible.
Is this the future of comics? Artist Dick Giordano, and writers David Michelinie and Bob Layton hope so; that’s why they launched their own company.
