Similar in format to the EC horror comics of the 1950s and the DC horror comics of the 1970s, Adventure’s Strange Sports Stories features a host—named Hall O. Fame, of all things—who introduces the tales that make up this black-and-white anthology. What makes a strange sports story? How about a baseball player with the power of magic on his side? Ghosts skateboarding in the Grand Canyon? A football player who becomes a werewolf in the light of the full moon?

Fun stuff, indeed, from writer Charles Marshall (Planet of the Apes) and artist Mitch Byrd (Guy Gardner: Warrior)!
