Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi—Fall of the Sith Empire
(Dark Horse, 1997-1998)
™ and ©1997 Lucasfilm Ltd.
In the hands of Dark Horse, the Star Wars universe has become an elaborate embroidered tapestry, with threads, merely hinted at in the films, unraveling into entire storylines dense with continuity and texture. The Fall of the Sith story arc from Tales of the Jedi predates the events in Star Wars: A New Hope by nearly 5000 years and tells of the challenge of the Sith Empire, under the Dark Lord, to the Republic of Empress Teta (defended by the original corps of Jedi Knights). This storyline features an entirely new cast of characters but is recognizably in the spirit and style of the Star Wars universe.
This series is the product of creative team Kevin Anderson (writer), Dario Carrasco (pencils), Mark Heike, Bill Black, and David Beckett (inks), produced with Dark Horse’s typical high quality.
