Fans of Donna Barr’s other work such as her work on Stinz, should enjoy the Bosom Enemies series. Unfortunately, combining centaurs with war stories doesn’t really work and Barr’s sketchy drawing style and meandering plotline leaves the reader a bit unsatisfied with the results. Obviously, Barr has her fans since she proudly proclaims that all of her work is being preserved in the library at San Diego State University.
