Forge is a monthly anthology comic book, but on the surface looks more like a trade paperback. Its design reflects its intended purpose—to attract new readers to the comics medium by way of the Crossgen universe. Featured inside are installments of Sojourn, Negation, Meridian, Crux, and a new samurai adventure series entitled The Path.

A second Compendia series to look out for from Crossgen is Edge.
