Transformers/G.I. Joe

What if. . . Cobra took over most of Europe in the late 1930s? This parallel world has just that. Cobra Commander and his vile organization completely overshadows Adolph Hitler and his Third Reich, causing America to create a crack squad of their best soldiers dubbed “G.I. Joes” to slide in and take the pressure off the States until the U.S. can get it’s own war machine up and running. But Cobra has help. They’ve uncovered the ultimate “war machine” ally of their own- the Decepticons- who have their own agenda and plan to strip Earth of every bit of energy they can sink their gears into. The only things stopping them are G.I. Joe and the Joe’s allies from the same mechanized world- the Autobots.

John Ney Rieber and Jae Lee pull off this dark look at what could have been worse than the second World War in this most unusual team-up. Even non-fans of the Transformers and G.I. Joe should find this saga enjoyable.
