Witchblade/Elektra

Part six of this eight-part story picks up where its predecessor left off: Wolverine and Witchblade are battling together to prevent Mephisto from conquering the Top Cow dimension. Quickly realizing that this battle would be too much for the two alone, Wolverine calls for reinforcements from his part of the multiverse. No sooner said than done does Elektra, the beautiful but deadly assassin, enter the picture.

But as the title indicates, there can be only two heroines in this story. Subsequently, Wolverine is mysteriously knocked out of the picture with the greatest of ease. Posing no serious threat to the Master of Illusions, Elektra and Witchblade merely act to provide sultry poses and plenty of “T & A” for the story’s endless splash pages. With only two issues left until the series finale, one can only hope that the somewhat confusing plot will be properly brought to a close.
