Thor: Vikings

When a mysterious group of zombie-like Vikings invade modern-day New York, the military and police are hopelessly unprepared to stop the tide of destruction these magical warriors unleash on the city. Even their own god, the Mighty Thor, is tossed aside like a rag doll as the magical warriors from the past bathe the city in blood. The Asgardian God of Thunder must team with Dr. Strange, the master of the mystic arts, to discover the source of the Vikings’ awesome powers and the secret to their defeat.

This 5-issue mini-series under Marvel’s Max banner features the storytelling talent of Garth Ennis. The Max comics are for mature audiences, and the series contains images of graphic violence that readers of Thor’s regular series might find disturbing.
