Archangels: The Saga is an independent comic series with a religious feel. At the heart of its story is the ultimate battle between good and evil. Four men are sent back to Earth by an angel after they had all suffered terrible deaths, most of which they are to blame for. As part of their penance, they are given powers and abilities far beyond that of any mortal man. They must use them to seek out and destroy the Devil’s evil minions, who have been showing up with ever greater frequency on earth.

This title debuted in April of 1995. However it was actually three years in the making as creators Patrick Scott, Andy Orjuela, and John Leger, studied everything they needed to know to self-publish a comic book in the inhospitable publishing climate of the times. Their efforts led to a polished, if lightly distributed book.
