This huge, 1974 special welcomed in the holiday season by reprinting five Christmas-themed stories starring the Amazing Spider-Man, the Sub-Mariner, Daredevil, the Black Widow, the Fantastic Four, Captain America, and other Marvel favorites. The least seasonal (but still memorable) tale is the two-part Hulk vs. Thing fight from Fantastic Four (Vol. 1) #25–26. The whole special was presented in a treasury-sized edition, paving the way for a line of Marvel Treasury Edition specials that followed over the next seven years.
