This four-issue mini-series spotlights the feisty were-woman Tigra, from the regular Avengers comic. The story follows Greer Nelson, a woman with the uncanny ability to transform into a tiger-like werewolf, albeit a sexy, sultry one as drawn by Mike Deodarto, Jr. Christina Z (long-time writer of Witchblade) combines elements of super-hero adventure, crime drama and psychological profile together in order to weave an interesting tale centered around Tigra’s past. The mini-series succeeds in revealing heretofore, unknown facts about this current member of the Avengers. The mini-series is also highlighted with cameo appearances from some of her most famous teammates, including the Wasp and Captain America.
