Marvel’s New Universe, where the mysterious White Event introduced paranormal abilities to a world previously power-free, debuted in 1986. Celebrating the 20th Anniversary, these Untold Tales revisit popular titles like Justice, D.P.7, and Nightmask.

The teenaged members of Psi-Force were gathered by rogue CIA agent Emmett Proudstar to protect them from his employers. Psychic himself, Emmett taught the kids to combine their abilities to form the Psi-Hawk. Unfortunately, he was killed soon after.

On their own, the team is confronted by Emmett’s cousin Michael, another CIA agent determined to recapture the runaways. Not surprisingly, Michael has powers of his own, and his mission soon becomes a deadly battle of Psi-Hawk vs. Psi-Hawk!
The original series, featuring early work by Danny Fingeroth, Fabian Nicieza and Ron Lim, was one of the few NU titles to last 32 issues before cancellation.
