In a small Mid-Eastern country, two covert teams of black operatives converge on a secret base where super-soldier technology is being developed. Each team has a similar objective but are working independently and are oblivious to each other’s presence. That is not a situation that is likely to endure.

This crossover title features Marvel’s characters, Logan, Creed and North comprising Team X and Image’s Lynch, Dane, Cash, Cray and Chang, making up Team 7. Upon recognizing the harmony of their mission these two teams…team up. This is a team-up book that really lives up to the concept.

Before Logan became Wolverine of the X-Men, and Creed became Sabretooth and North became Maverick they were part of the Weapon X program. Similarly, Team 7 features Lynch who later mentored Gen13 and Dane who would come to lead Wetworks, as well as Cash who became Grifter of WildC.A.T.S. and Cray, the soldier of fortune known as Deathblow. This is a tale taken from established characters’ pasts that provides a glimpse of what made them what they are.
