Ultimate Power

    (Marvel, 2006–2008)

Reed Richards promised Ben Grimm he’d find a cure for his existence as The Thing, no matter how long he had to search. Here that search involves sending exploratory probes into alternate realities—with devastating consequences. Before long, Earth’s heroes, including the Ultimates and the Fantastic Four, are visited by the super-powered heroes of one of those other realities: the Squadron Supreme. They intend to make Richards pay for his crimes, and when he sees the devastation he’s inadvertently caused, he’s not sure he doesn’t deserve his sentence.

This limited series is drawn by Greg Land in his photo-realistic style and written by a team of writers, including Brian Michael Bendis, Jeph Loeb, and J. Michael Straczynski.
