Ultimate Vision

Prolific writer Mike Carey (Lucifer, X-Men) takes on the science-fiction genre in this follow-up to the Ultimate Galactus trilogy (Ultimate Nightmare, Ultimate Secret, and Ultimate Extinction). Having warded off the threat of Galactus, Vision plans to return to her task of warning the rest of the galaxy about Galactus; however, agents of A.I.M., operating from a base orbiting the Earth, have other plans—do they want to bring back Galactus, or is there something even more sinister going on?

Mike Carey again shines in this book; his gift for writing quirky, memorable characters is in full force here. Artist Brandon Peterson also does a fantastic job and his pencilwork is perfectly suited to a book full of mechanical sheen and circuitry.
